Let's call the pics A, B, C and D from top to bottom. A few google-able details have been obviated, making the question tougher. Identify A and C. A created B. C founded D inspired by A's B. Now, once you get your ABCDs in order, getting the connect is trivial.
The connect is chess-boxing.
A is Enki Bilal, an French Cartoonist who in his science fiction graphic novel Froid-Equateur (B) came up with chess-boxing as part of the plot. C is a chap called Iepe Rubingh who founded the World Chess-Boxing Organization or WCBO, (inspired by Bilal's idea) the logo of which is D.
